Renewal Questions
A PDF document with step-by-step instructions on using the Minister Credential Renewal site is available here.
If you need to leave the credential renewal site before completion, you may return to this site later and continue with the last screen you visited. To return and continue, sign in by clicking the Sign in with AG Accounts button.
Please allow 6-8 weeks after the national office has approved your renewal.
The online renewal will automatically be sent to your district office after you submit it.
Please contact your district office to see if a hard copy renewal is available. A complete list of districts and their contact information may be found at: https://ag.org/Resources/Directories/District-Network-Offices.
We have tried to make the process easy by including a status bar at the top of the page. Your renewal is not complete until you click the Yes, I want to submit my renewal button.
An email notification will be sent to you after your renewal has been successfully submitted. You will receive additional email notifications after your renewal is approved by the district office, and again when it is approved by the national office.
If you did not receive an email notice, it may be because you stopped the process prior to submitting your renewal. Please log back in to the renewal site to verify it was submitted.
If you paid your GC Dues, please do not confuse the email that you received confirming the payment of your GC Dues with the confirmation email for the submission of your renewal.
The confirmation email that you received was mostly likely confirmation of your GC Dues payment. Please double-check the wording on that email. It is likely that you stopped the renewal process after making your payment. Please log back into the online renewal system to complete your renewal.
You will be prompted to download a PDF of your renewal after you submit it. The Assemblies of God Online Minister Credential Renewal process requires the use of Adobe's free PDF Reader version 9 or greater. If you do not have this software installed, please click here to begin installing it now.
Please email your corrections to minister-renewal@ag.org.
Dues/Payments
You will be given the opportunity to pay your General Council Dues during the online renewal process. If you owe a late fee, the online renewal system will prompt you for that payment.
General Council dues are $10 per month for certified ministers, $20 per month for licensed ministers, and $25 per month for ordained ministers.
Renewals submitted online (or mailed) after the December 31 deadline will require a $25 late fee paid to the General Council.
The $25 General Council late fee will be automatically required for those who renew between January 1, 12:00 AM (CST) through January 15, 11:59 PM (CST). The Minister Credential Renewal system will prompt you for that payment. Please renew early to avoid late fees!
Please contact your district office to determine the district portion of the late fee. A complete list of districts and their contact information may be found at: https://ag.org/Resources/Directories/District-Network-Offices.
If you recently made a payment by credit card through AG Giving, but your payment isn't showing, your online renewal may need a manual reset. Please call the Secretariat department at 1-888-349-6004. Select option 2 (minister renewals) and then select option 3 (questions about credentials). Do not select any of the payment/dues options. The Secretariat department will be able to assist you in verifying your payment and manually resetting your renewal so that you may continue the process. Alternatively, you may email the Secretariat department at minister-renewal@ag.org.
If you mailed a check or paid through Bill Pay, it may take a while for the payment to post. Please try again in a few days. To expedite renewing your credentials, we recommend that you consider making the requested payment through the Minister Credential Renewal site. If you make this additional payment, we will automatically apply your previous payment to your next year's GC Dues after it is received and processed.
If ministers wish to pay their GC Dues by mailing a check or paying through Bill Pay, we recommend that the payment be made prior to October 1 to avoid posting issues. Ideally, ministers who wish to renew their credentials online will pay through the online renewal site.
If you are current on your monthly payments, the Minister Credential Renewal site will not require a payment.
If the system is requiring a payment it is because you are not current on your monthly payments. This could be caused by a variety of reasons. To expedite renewing your credentials, we recommend that you make the requested payment through the Minister Credential Renewal site.
If you mailed your most recent monthly payment or paid it through Bill Pay, the issue could be that your most recent payment hasn't been received or it has not been processed. If you decide to make the requested payment through the Minister Credential Renewal site, the previous payment will automatically be applied towards your next year's dues once it is received and processed.
If you would like detailed information as to why your payments are not current, please email contributions@ag.org.
If, after submitting your online renewal, you would like to make an additional payment, you may do so at the following links:
Please enter your minister account number in the Auxiliary ID line.
For additional assistance call 1-877-840-4800 between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CST), Monday–Friday, or email contributions@ag.org.
Please contact your district office for instructions on how to make a payment to them. Do not pay the district through the Minister Credential Renewal site. A complete list of districts and their contact information may be found at: https://ag.org/Resources/Directories/District-Network-Offices.
